We love to get involved!

Firstly, I want to say thank you so much to all the people that came out to support us on Small Business Saturday. I was really very touched by the community. And we strive to show our appreciation by getting involved with community.

On Monday, November 26th, we participated in the Pennekamp Elementary School Holiday Boutique. A few businesses went down to sell various items to give back a percentage back to the school. So much fun! Tonight we are welcoming Pacific Elementary School for Mom's Night Out. Parents, friends and anyone is invited to come down to shop at our store to help raise money for the school.We will have some sparkling cider and treats for those who stop by! Also, when you come down to Landis', you may notice the Sandpiper Sugarplum Tree on the counter. All the ornaments have the name and gift wish of a foster child. Your generosity is greatly needed to help out one or more of these less fortunate children by purchasing one of these holiday gifts. We will collect the gifts and give them to Sandpipers on the December 13th.

Small Business Saturday

I know so many people look forward to the great deals and savings on such a day as today, Black Friday, or the upcoming Cyber Monday. However, I would really like to urge people not to forget about the 'little guys'. No matter where you live, remember to shop small and locally this weekend! Saturday, November 24th is Small Business Saturday and we would like you invite you, our new customers and our long-time loyal customers, to encourage your friends and family to support and shop small local businesses! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all their loved ones. Thank you!!

Holiday Open House

We are so excited to kick off the holiday season with the Holiday Open House in Downtown Manhattan Beach this Wednesday, November 14th from 6-9 pm. There will be a pier lighting ceremony, Santa, live music, and a scavenger hunt (visit www.downtownmanhattanbeach.com for clues)!! There are over 40 prizes available for up to $400!
More importantly, we will be looking forward to having a super fun night and getting to know our neighbors in such a wonderful community! Bring the family down to Manhattan Avenue for a magical night!!
