Little Miss Busy

That's what we've been for the past few weeks (except Drew...he's Mr. Busy), what with setting up the new shop (don't worry, we're still going to be here in Larchmont Village!) and getting in the new merchandise for September.  We've gotten in some great art supplies from Melissa & Doug, including the Paint Your Own Cupcake Bank, which we predict will sell out almost as quickly as the Paint Your Own Rubber Duckie Kit we had this summer.  Remember the Magnetic Responsibility Chart from them?  We have that, too!  Also in is the newest book from Josie Bissett, Boogie Monster, as well as her best-seller, Tickle Monster.  We also have the box sets of these books that come with the Tickle Gloves and Monster Feet Covers (also sold separately), and the box set for the book I Love Monkey.  We've also begun carrying the I Can Read! Series of books from Harper Collins, which are great for beginning readers as each book indicates on the cover what 'level' the book is.  And, as you can probably guess, we have the famous Mr. Men and Little Miss books back, with titles we've never carried before!  I loved these books when I was little, and it's very exciting to see that kids are still interested in reading all of them.   For the adventurous sort, we have great selection of Spy Gear toys back in stock (last Christmas they were second only to Hexbug in popularity amongst the boys). In the next few weeks we should be getting in a huge Calico Critters order, more Legos (still waiting on those series 5 minifigures), a huge reorder of Mattel (Hot Wheels, Uno, Magic 8 Balls, Barbie, etc.), and Hasbro.  Also, we're almost done ordering for the year, so if you have any great suggestions for the holiday season in terms of merchandise, please let us know!

Guess who's coming to Manhattan Beach???

That's too easy.  Who else would it be but Landis' Labyrinth?  That's right, we're opening a second location at 919-E Manhattan Ave, right by the beach.  We're opening our doors Saturday, October 1, so come by and say Hi and also enjoy the 39th Annual Manhattan Beach Old Hometown Fair that weekend.  We're very happy to become a part of the neighborhood... we couldn't have asked for a better area to have a second shop.  So if you'd like to see this:

on your way out of Landis' Labyrinth, you now can!

We've climbed out of a mountain of Legos...

and lived to tell the tale!  So here it is:  WE HAVE A TON OF LEGOS!!!  The photo really doesn't really capture our bounty, but we have 3 full displays of Legos, and we should be getting EVEN MORE in very, very soon (including Series 5 of the Lego Minifigures, which, if you haven't seen yet what the figures are, do a quick google search and I think you'll agree, it's probably the best series yet!).  As well as the usual CITY, Cars, Creator, etc sets from Lego, we also have in their newest line, Alien Conquest, which is perfect for the more sci-fi Lego collector.  All of us were really psyched when we saw this back at the NY Toy Fair, and we hope you will be, too.

For the Hello Kitty Fans, we have some great Birthday/Holiday (never hurts to plan ahead) items.  My favorite is the HK Rhinestone Charm Bracelet.  Rhinestone is the key word here, as the HK face is pure dazzle.  But sometimes, it's the less obvious qualities that make a product, which in this case is the clasp featuring a silver heart charm with 'Hello Kitty' written on it.  Trust me, it's even more fantastic in person.  And if you're a super HK fan, we have the matching earrings, also loaded with rhinestones, encased in a pink HK-face jewelry box.  Not so keen on rhinestones?  That's fine, we also have digital HK watches in both white and black.  Very futuristic and adaptable to nearly any style.  As with all HK products, we only carry a limited supply, so be sure to check them out before they're gone!

I could go on, but it's probably best to just stop on by and check out what's in store.  We even have a new game from Blue Orange in WITH a floor sample (not going to say what it is, but if you like foosball, you'll like this).

Okay, one last thing... Fingerstaches from Gama-Go.  As in a temporary tattoo for your finger to hold up to your nose.  Sneeze in style!
